This study describes 15 patients with histologically proven adrenal cortical carcinoma seen at one radiotherapy centre between 1968 and 1981. Nine patients had radiotherapy following surgery and their 10 year uncorrected survival was 33%. Prognostic factors included age at diagnosis, hormone production and complete surgical removal. Two of the three long term survivors developed second malignancies.Citation
