Abstract
In the version of this article initially published, the list of members and affiliations for the TRACERx Consortium was provided as a Supplementary Note. The list should have been provided in the online version. Also, some of the numbers in the second row (Non-adenocarcinoma) of the Tumor histology section of Table 1 were incorrect (n = 43; 20 (47%); 23 (53%)). The correct numbers are as follows (respectively): n = 41; 20 (49%); 21 (51%). Finally, the HR value for Extended Data Fig. 1b (HR = 2.78) was incorrect in the final sentence of the fourth paragraph of the main text (it is correct in Extended Data Fig. 1b itself). The correct value is 'HR = 2.89'. The errors have been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
